Position: New Product Development Manager … Location: CA (company pays for relocation) … Compensation: $75-80K, + bonus opportunity … Description: Lead the creative development and launch (commercialization) of profitable and sustainable new products and new product platforms that are in line with the strategic vision, growth plans, and profit goals. Creative internal and external consumer-oriented idea generation and prioritization. Creative concept refinement and preliminary feasibility analysis. Market sizing and analysis. Sales revenue and profitability projections (ROI). Product key quality characteristics and specification development. Identify competitive environment and barriers to entry. Develop and champion long-term creative product concepts (i.e. product hopper) so that we are continually developing new products that create consumer desire to purchase. Insure continued success as the best creative product innovators in the marketplace.

Position: Buyer - Scrapbooking/Papercrafting  … Location: Midwest (company will relocate) … Description: Seeking a buyer who has previous buying experience with scrapbooking/memory-making products (this is a sku intensive line). Also re-buy the art product lines, thus must understand and identify product needs. Strong vendor negotiation skills are needed. Will do re-buying of the product lines and have the ability to understand and identify product needs. Responsible for Category Management (establishing assortments, watching industry trends, evaluating competition, and monitoring company inventory while conducting regular category reviews); Store and Merchandise Planning (coordinate development of aisle layouts, endcaps, sidecaps, register lanes, vendor signage, and other in-store display programs); Vendor Negotiations & Compliance (procure the best possible terms, discounts, allowances, advertising participation, closeouts, and other reduction of costs to the company); Inventory Management; Pricing; and Advertising.
